RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the identification and apprehension of the person(s) who killed a Riverside woman.
On Thursday, June 6, 2019, at around 3:45 a.m., a shooting took place in Downtown Riverside in the 3800 block of Cedar Street. Through investigation it was learned that one person who resided at the home, accidentally interrupted a vehicle burglary on the street outside his home. While leaving, one of the suspects shot once toward the home. The single bullet hit Linda Ferguson eventually leading to her death.
Detectives are offering a reward for a 60-day period of time, which was approved by the city council on Tuesday as they believe others may have information not-yet provided to police.
