VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 13-year-old boy who attends Cobalt Institute of Math and Science was arrested after a handgun was found in his backpack.
On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at around 8:43 a.m. deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the school, located at 14045 Topaz Road in the City of Victorville for the report of a student with a gun. The reporting party, which was school staff, said that they received an anonymous tip that an eighth-grade boy brought an air pistol to school.
