ADELANTO – An Adelanto man and woman were arrested after a search warrant on their home uncovered 3 ounces methamphetamine and a .38 caliber handgun.
On Thursday, November 16, 2016, shortly before noon, Victor Valley Station deputies served a search warrant at the home in the 10200 block of Lawson Avenue in the City of Adelanto. David Barnard, 50, and Gina Barnard, 52, the residents of the home, were arrested.
David Barnard, who was on Post Released Community Supervision (PRCS), was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for the possession of narcotics while armed, possession of controlled substance for sale, and a for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Gina Barnard was issued a citation for the possession of a controlled substance and the possession of narcotic paraphernalia. She was cited and released at the scene.
