ADELANTO – The City of Adelanto will be holding their first Stadium Shoppers Swap Meet and Flea Market at Adelanto Stadium on Saturday, May 19th from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Vendors from all areas will be able to participate by renting a 20 feet by 20 feet spot for only $20. This spot is comparable to the size of two parking spaces.
“We scheduled this event to better serve not only the residents of Adelanto, but all those who live in the west portion of the Victor Valley,” said Aaron Korn, Stadium Manager. “We ask vendors to arrive by 6:00 a.m. and all the necessary forms will be completed at that time,” he added. Spots are first come, first served until they run out. The Swap Meet normally held at the Fairgrounds in Victorville is temporarily suspended as a result of parking restrictions during the County Fair. Adelanto Stadium officials stress that this is not associated with the Swap Meet held at the fairgrounds and that Swap Meet is not being relocated to the Adelanto Stadium. “The Stadium Shoppers Swap Meet and Flea Market is a completely separate event and is not associated with Macklin Markets, which holds the Swap Meets at the Fairgrounds,” said Korn. It’s just coincidence that our event is the same as opening weekend for the County Fair.”
This first Stadium Shoppers Swap Meet and Flea Market will be held on the same day as the Adelanto city-wide yard sale day, where residents can sell items from their front yard, driveway or garage free and without obtaining a permit.
Anyone interested in purchasing items from vendors can attend the event for free.
