ADELANTO, Ca. – The cause of an Adelanto house fire on Friday morning is being investigated, while one person is currently being treated for burns.
At around 6:40 p.m., a report regarding a fire in the 1100 block of Live Oak was made. When San Bernardino County firefighters arrived they found heavy fire and smoke billowing from the single-story home. Firefighters quickly learned that the fire spread to the attic and responded accordingly to limit damage and while searching the home for any possible occupants.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out and one civilian was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Fire officials said that both the primary and secondary searches came back clear. No fire personnel was injured. The cause of the fire has not been released at this time, fire officials said.
