ADELANTO – A 22-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were arrested for burglarizing a home in the 11000 block of Hardy Avenue in the City of Adelanto on Tuesday. At around 10:25 p.m. Victor Valley Station deputies responded to the location for the report of a burglary in progress reporting that two males were entering a vacant home and removing items. After removing the items, the suspects were witnessed walking down the street pushing a refrigerator on a moving dolly and other items in a trash can.
Deputies arrived to find the two suspects identified as Miguel Marin, 22, and a 16-year-old boy walking down the street with the stolen property. Deputies were able to identify the victims and return the property. Marin and the 16-year-old male were both arrested for residential burglary. Marin was booked into the High Desert Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail. The teen was booked into the Apple Valley Juvenile Detention Center. Marin is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Thursday afternoon.
