ADELANTO – An Adelanto man was arrested after attempting to burglarize one home and burglarizing another in the City of Victorville.
On Sunday, September 2, 2018, Saul Bahena, 28, was noticed attempting to enter a home on the 14600 block of Mesa Drive. He was also seen entering a home in the 16400 block of Desert Knoll Drive. “Bahena was located near the second property and the County Fair Grounds,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “Luckily, he was scared off by occupants at both locations and nothing was taken, no injuries reported.”
Bahena was arrested for burglary and was booked at the High Desert Detention Center. Bahena pleaded not guilty to all charges at his arraignment hearing on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, and is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail. Bahena’s next scheduled court appearance is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2018.
