ADELANTO, Ca. – A 14-year-old Adelanto girl says that she narrowly escaped an attempted kidnapping on Monday morning.
The teen was on her way to school in the area of Aster Road and Chamberlaine Way at around 9:26 a.m. when an older white truck pulled up next to her. The driver, a 40-year-old man, who was around 5’10, 130 pounds with dark hair got out of the truck and grabbed the girl’s arm. She punched the man and he let go before running home to a relative who called 911.
