ADELANTO – A 26-year-old Adelanto woman is recuperating after she was stabbed in the back on Friday night.
At around 9:27 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to the 11400 block of Star Street in Adelanto for the report of a stabbing. When they arrived they learned that the two black juveniles from Adelanto; one 13 and the other 15-years-old, went with a 3rd male to the home to talk to a female about property. They began to argue and the 13-year-old boy stabbed her in the back with a knife. As he stabbed her, the 15-year-old male punched her multiple times. Both suspects fled the scene, but were located at a home nearby home a short time later.
The victim was airlifted to a trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries. The teens were arrested and booked at the High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for Attempted Murder.
