APPLE VALLEY – A 41-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested for the attempted murder of a 38-year-old Apple Valley woman after shooting her in her face authorities said.
On Sunday, August 26, 2018, deputies from the Apple Valley Station received the report from a hospital regarding a woman who they were treating. The woman reported to the hospital staff that she was assaulted with a gun as she walked in the area of Manhasset Road near Ottawa Road in Apple Valley. The victim said that as she walked, she became involved in a domestic disturbance with Danny Fagan. She said that Fagan allegedly shot her in her face and fled from the area. The woman was treated for the injury and was later released from the hospital.
As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant was authored for Danny Fagan. Fagan was arrested near Dale Evans Parkway and State Highway 18. Fagan was in possession of a firearm at the time of arrest. He is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail for Attempted Murder and Mayhem.
