APPLE VALLEY, CA. – A 32-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested this week after authorities after his father reported being assaulted by him.
On Tuesday, August 11, 2020, just before 9:00 a.m. Nicholas Burke was served with a Harassment Order at his father’s Apple Valley home in the 11200 block of Tujunga Drive. Following the service of the order, Burke began choking and punching his father before he could get away. Victor Valley station and Apple Valley station deputies arrived at the home and took Burke into custody without incident. Burke’s father was scratched, bruised and became dizzy following the incident.
Nicholas Burke was booked at High Desert Detention Center with bail set at $125,000. He is also being held on a warrant for battery out of San Bernardino County.
