APPLE VALLEY – A 49-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 23-year-old man in the neck on Tuesday afternoon. At around 12:44 p.m. deputies from the Apple Valley Station were dispatched to the 15400 block of Straight Arrow for a man that was stabbed. When they arrived they learned that Roy Founder, 23 and Trent Yarbrough, 49 both from Apple Valley were involved in a verbal altercation.
The altercation escalated and Yarbrough stabbed Founder in the neck. The Yarbrough was located and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Assault with a deadly weapon. Founder was transported to the hospital treatment of his injuries.
Apple Valley deputies are seeking any information from anyone who may have been in the area during the incident.
