APPLE VALLEY – A routine probation check in the Town of Apple Valley on Tuesday evening led to the arrest of a probationer on post-release community supervision (PRCS).
At around 2:00 p.m. county probation officers went to the apartment home of Ky A. Lattimore, 34, located at 22544 Sioux Road. Lattimore, a convicted felon was released as part of AB 109, also known as Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS).
During the contact, an unregistered loaded Sig Sauer O.D. Green .45 Cal Semi Auto pistol and numerous rounds of ammunition were located in his possession. He was arrested for being a Felon in possession of a handgun, Felon in possession of ammunition and Probation Violation. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center with no bail.
