APPLE VALLEY – No foul play was suspected after an Academy for Academic Excellence— Lewis Center for Educational Research teacher was found unresponsive in her classroom on Tuesday afternoon.
Second-grade teacher, Michelle Dale, 39, of Victorville was located in her classroom at around 3:45 p.m. after the children were all dismissed from school. CPR was administered on Dale, and she was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital where despite life-saving measures she was pronounced deceased. Dale’s cause of death is only described at this time as a “medical emergency”.
