HEMET, Ca. – Authorities are asking for help locating a suspect wanted for a murder that occurred on October 5, 2019.
At around 12:45 a.m., officers responded to a motel located in the 2600 block of W. Florida Avenue in the City of Hemet for the reports of shots fired. When they arrived they located a man who had been shot. The suspect was identified as Stephon Blakely. It was learned that Blakely shot the victim then fled the scene on foot.
Blakely is outstanding and a Ramey Warrant has been issued for murder. Anyone having information is urged to contact Hemet Police Investigator Alvarez at (951)765-2426 or email GAlvarez@cityofhemet.org.
