VICTORVILLE, Calif. – Two men were detained after a witness called to report that they were parked behind bushes calling out to children.

At around 2:22 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, Victorville Station deputies were dispatched to the area of Seneca and El Evado Roads after the men were witnessed trying to get children to go over to them as they walked by. The men were in a Dodge van parked in bushes in the area. The children continued walking away from the van. The van drove away but was located by deputies who conducted a traffic stop.
