FONTANA, Ca. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate a vehicle stolen during a carjacking in the City of Fontana on Tuesday.
At around 9:36 p.m., the victim called police to report that a man approached him in the 16700 block of San Bernardino Road. The suspect pressed an object, believed by the victim to be a gun against his back and demanded his vehicle and cell phone. The suspect got into the green Ford Ranger with the CA license plate 14948A2. A second suspect was waiting nearby in a different vehicle and the two vehicles fled together.
On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at around 3:11 a.m. officers located the suspects, Paul SandovalSanchez, 23, and Ramon Luna, 26. At the time of arrest, SandovalSanchez was in possession of a loaded handgun. He was arrested and booked without incident. The victim’s truck has still not been located.
Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle has “Ozzy’s Pool Service” on the bed of the truck.
