ADELANTO – Authorities have identified the man killed in a Friday night Adelanto shooting as 29-year-old Adelanto resident Daniel Udell. The shooting occurred at around 8:23 p.m. when multiple 911 calls flooded in to dispatch reporting a shooting in the 15100 block of Christopher Street in the City of Adelanto.
While deputies and emergency medical personnel were enroute, a reporting party indicated that there Udell appeared to be deceased. When they arrived, Udell was confirmed deceased and a second victim, an unidentified black male, was located outside of the car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a trauma hospital and is expected to survive. The incident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Homicide Detail.
