SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Authorities have identified the man who was shot in killed at a San Bernardino Stater Bros. Market on Monday.
The investigation into the shooting at the market in the 400 block of East Baseline Street is still very active. Authorities have reviewed the surveillance footage and are saying that they are confident that they will find the person(s) responsible for the shooting.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Reginald Williams Jr. who lived in Adelanto and attended Silverado High School. Authorities said that his most recent address was in the City of San Bernardino. Witness said that a verbal altercation led to around 5-6 shots.
Following the shooting, the suspect(s) fled the location. When emergency medical personnel arrived, they attempted lifesaving measures on Reginald, but he was pronounced deceased shortly after. The motive is still unknown and authorities do not believe the Reginald knew any of the suspects prior to the shooting.
