APPLE VALLEY – Authorities are investigating the death of a 44-year-old Victorville man who was found deceased in a desert area near Stoddard Wells Road, west of Grasshopper Road in the Town of Apple Valley.
The report of a possible body located in the desert area was reported on Sunday, August 12, 2018. When deputies arrived they confirmed the male victim, later identified as Keenan Handley was deceased. The Specialized Investigations Division responded to assume the investigation. The body was taken into the possession of the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Coroner in order to perform an autopsy that should provide information about the cause and manner of Mr. Handley’s death.
