BAKERSFIELD, Ca. – Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who they believe was the victim of an assault which led to her death.
On September 29, 2019, at around 6:40 p.m., Kern Valley Substation Deputies were dispatched to the 5500 block of Piute Road, for an assault. When they arrived, they found the female suffering from extensive injuries. They performed life-saving measures the woman, but she ultimately died as a result of her injuries.
Detectives were called to the scene and assumed the investigation.
