VICTORVILLE, Ca. – Authorities are investigating a shooting in the 16900 block of C Street in the City of Victorville.
Victorville Police officials said that on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at around September 14, 2019, at 11:37 p.m. they received a report of shots fired in the alley.
The caller told dispatchers that a man was shot while sitting in the alley. When deputies arrived they found the victim with two gunshot wounds to his chest. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. According to the news release, an updated condition of the 29-year-old victim is not available.
The suspect was described as a black male adult, approximately 140-150 lbs., and 5’10” tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and is believed to be armed with a handgun. He may be riding a bicycle.
