HESPERIA, Calif. – Authorities are looking for a suspect who raped a woman in the 99 Cent Only Store parking lot on Monday.
At around 11:20 a.m. dispatchers received a call regarding a rape that occurred in the parking lot located at 17255 Main Street in the City of Hesperia. The victim said that she was in the parking lot and the male suspect grabbed her from behind and pushed her into the backseat of her car. The suspect forced himself onto the woman and raped her, ad fled on foot with her phone and wallet toward the Fast Trip gas station and left in a tan-colored SUV.
The suspect is described as a black male adult, approximately 30 years old, 5’10”, 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hat with a yellow symbol, a yellow t-shirt, black pants, and had a backpack on. The suspect also had the letter “P” and word “King” tattooed on his forearms and was missing one of his front teeth.
Nearby business surveillance cameras were checked with no suspect leads at this time. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact the Hesperia Station, Detective McDaniel at (760)947-1500.
