POMONA, Calif. – The Pomona Police Department is seeking information that may help lead to the arrest of a man who stabbed and killed a dog on Tuesday.
The male suspect was trespassing on the property in the 800 block of Second Street in the City of Pomona. He was captured on the victim’s surveillance camera, first chasing the dog in the front yard and eventually stabbing the dog to death. In his hand, he was holding a large-edged weapon believed to be a knife.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male transient, around 30-35 years old, 5’10”, and 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, police said that he frequents the 800 block of E. Second Street. He was last seen in a fisherman style hat, gray t-shirt, and shorts, black socks, and sandals.
