SAN BERNARDINO – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify the family of an Erie, Colorado man who was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday. John Alan Dickson, 58, the owner of Alta Surveying Inc. was surveying and mapping on Pepper Avenue south of Mill Street in the City of San Bernardino at around 1:25 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle, who witnesses said was speeding and lost control remained at the scene. Dickson was rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department-Coroner Division is asking for public assistance. Anyone with information as to the next of kin is urged to contact the Coroner’s Division 909-387-2978.
