LUCERNE VALLEY – Authorities need the public’s help to identify the suspect who robbed the First Mountain Bank in Lucerne Valley on Wednesday.
At around 4:23 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to bank located at 32946 State Hwy. 18 for the report of an armed robbery. When they arrived witnesses reported that an unknown man entered the bank armed with a black handgun. He demanded money from the teller. The teller complied and the suspect fled the location on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There is no vehicle description. The suspect is believed to be Hispanic, between 5’6” and 5’9” tall and weighing somewhere from 160-200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, green cargo pants, blue and white athletic shoes, and a black ski mask.
