YUCAIPA – Authorities are attempting to identify a man who is making sexual advances and exposing himself to minor girls in the Yucaipa and Beaumont.
On Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. two minor females were walking in the 12700 block of Holmes Street in Yucaipa when a man standing near a tree unzipped his pants and made sexual comments to the girls. The girls turned and ran away. The girls said that the suspect was standing next to a black Honda, possibly a Civic or Accord with front-end damage. Through investigation, deputies linked the May 12th incident to a May 23rd Beaumont incident with similar circumstances. The suspect description, suspect vehicle description, and incident details closely matched for both incidents.
A police artist assisted in constructing a sketch of the suspect using information from the victims of the Yucaipa and Beaumont victims. Police detectives are hoping that the public can help to identify the suspect. The suspect is described as a White man, 20 to 30-years-old. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, and a black baseball-style cap. He had brown facial hair and was driving an early-90’s Honda with front-end damage.
Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to call the Yucaipa Police Department Investigations Bureau at 909-918-2305 or your local law enforcement agency.
