PUYALLUP, Wa. – A Washington State woman is believed to have used infants and toddlers in her care to produce sexually explicit videos and photos.
Authorities are concerned that there may be additional victims who they do not yet know about the abuse. On April 23, 2019, Victoria Del Carmen, 18, was arrested for four counts of Possession of Depictions of Minor Children Engaged in Sexually Explicit Conduct. Detectives learned that Del Carmen offered babysitting/nanny services on Care.com. In addition, detectives said that they also found several text messages indicating that she had been babysitting several unidentified children.
An alert from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating that images containing child pornography had been shared by a Pierce County resident near Puyallup. “Our detectives identified the address and performed a search warrant at the residence on 110th St. Ct. E.,” Pierce County Sheriff officials said. “Through interviews and evidence, detectives identified Victoria DelCarmen as the suspect and she was placed into custody.”
When DelCarmen’s bedroom was searched, detectives uncovered items like doll parts, a life-like doll, and diapers, pacifiers, and baby clothes. DelCarmen has no children of her own. Electronic devices, some with communications with sex acts and regarding infants and toddler. The evidence has detectives concerned that there may be additional victims.
