BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A 52-year-old man was arrested for attempting to meet with a minor that he made contact with on Instagram.
Oscar Raul Maguregui Jr. who goes by ‘CALIFASSUN’ on Instagram made contact with the minor. During online conversations with the minor, Maguregui expressed a desire to engage in sexual acts with the minor. Detectives from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office learned of the conversations on May 7, 2019.
On Sunday, May 19, 2019, at around 4:20 p.m. detectives made contact with Maguregui in the 6200 block of Norris Road, after he agreed to meet the minor to engage in sexually explicit acts with a minor. He was arrested and booked into jail for Arranging a Meeting with a Minor for Lewd Purposes and Annoying or Molesting a Child.
