BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Bakersfield Police is asking for the public’s help to locate an armed and dangerous suspect.
At around 11:21 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2019, officers attempted to stop a vehicle occupied by Deon Hodge, a 26-year-old known gang member. Hodge led officers on a pursuit and fled from the vehicle near Planz Park. Officers are searching the area for Hodge.
He is wanted for felony evading, resisting arrest causing injury, weapons violations and gang participation. He is considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a black man who is 5’7” tall, 175 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
The Kern Secret Witness Program is offering up to a $1000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of Hodge. If you see Hodge, call 9-1-1 immediately.
