WEST COVINA, Calif. – The driver of a big rig suffered little or no injuries after the big rig full of Modelo beer overturned on Thursday.
At around 6:30 a.m. the California Highway Patrol received the report of a big rig that had been involved in a collision. The driver was apparently attempting to exit the westbound 10 freeway when the truck flipped over dumping tons of beer. The crash was near the 10 freeway on Garvey Avenue, just east of Fairway Lane. The clean up of the roadway and investigation will keep lanes of the road shut down with a hard road closure on both East and Westbound N. Garvey Avenue, West Covina Police tweeted Thursday morning.
