BLOOMINGTON – A convicted felon was arrested for distributing child pornography over the internet on Thursday morning authorities said.
Jose Arly Lopez, 27, of Bloomington was suspected of distributing the pornography which led to a Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force warrant search.
The warrant was served at Lopez’ home located in the 10700 block of Cedar Avenue in Bloomington. Lopez was taken into custody without incident. During a search of his electronic storage devices, the child pornographic videos were located. Information showing that these videos were being distributed also was found.
Lopez was already on probation for auto theft and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
