CHINO HILLS, Ca. – A 28-year-old Chino Hills man was arrested for the sexual assault of his young family member.
On Friday, June 21, 2019, the victim walked into the police station to report that she was sexually assaulted by a family member in 2014. At the time of the assault, the victim was only 8 years old. Detectives began investigating and located evidence to substantiate the report. Chris Alviz was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for sexual assault on a minor. He is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.
