Chores Cause Boy to Run Away; Authorities Need Help Locating Him
BARSTOW, Ca. – Authorities are looking for a Barstow boy who ran away from his babysitters home after being asked to do chores, police said.
On Saturday, September 7, 2019, at around 6:11 p.m. Barstow Police responded to a home located at 720 Agnes Drive for the report of a runaway boy When they arrived they learned that Eli Jeffery, 11, ran away from his babysitters home at around 9:00 a.m. after he was told to do some chores.
Eli never arrived home, located at 2182 Garnet Avenue or back to the babysitters home.Jeffery was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue shorts, and blue shoes. Jeffery has run away for several days in the past.
He is described as having black hair and brown eyes. Police said that Eli is 4’11” tall, and 65 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue shorts, and blue shoes.
Any person who is keeping Jeffery from his parents and contributing to his status as a runaway juvenile is in violation of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
