ADELANTO – In recent years the City of Adelanto has gone from a little-known and financially struggling city, to a city booming with ideas, community events, and growth.
Adelanto is now, as promised bringing more to their residents with a free concert series. Following the lead of nearby cities and towns, Adelanto has chosen to make use of Adelanto Stadium, which can hold over 3000 guests. All High Desert residents are invited to enjoy the three-part concert series that begins on Saturday, August 4, 2018, with a “Jazz, Blues, and Classic Rock Night” focus.
“We promised that we would make the Stadium an entertainment venue and the concert series is just one in a list activity taking place,” said Aaron Korn, Stadium Manager. For the second night, on Saturday, August 11, 2018, there will be “Country Night”, which will also include a car show, comedians, an art show, and a kid zone. Your whole family can live ‘La Vida Loca’, on Saturday, September 1, 2018, with “Latin Night”.
Event admission is free and is co-sponsored by the City of Adelanto, Adelanto Rotary Club and Adelanto Stadium. Adelanto Stadium is located at 12000 Stadium Way in the City of Adelanto. “When we assumed management of the Stadium we asked ourselves why can’t we do more for the residents of Adelanto?” said Darrel Courtney, who along with Aaron Korn, schedules events and activities at the Stadium. Courtney said that community support is critical and residents are encouraged to take advantage of the entertainment being offered.
