VICTORVILLE – Residents of the Victor Valley are ecstatic about the newly-announced growth to the area referred to as, “Restaurant Row” the City of Victorville. The new additions coming to the area of Amargosa Road just south of Bear Valley Road will be home to Cafe Rio, The Habit Burger, Pieology, Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, and Ono Hawaiian BBQ. In addition to the restaurants, a Nekter Juice will also be coming to the busy shopping center.
“Our Planning Commission approved plans for the development of an additional 30,000 square feet of commercial development on a five-acre lot next to BJ’s Brewhouse and Restaurant on Amargosa Road,” said the City of Victorville Spokeswoman Sue Jones. “Plans call for the development of an 11,350-square-foot, multi-tenant building with a drive-thru as well as two or three, free-standing buildings we expect to be used for restaurants. This five-acre lot is being developed by Vantage One Real Estate Investments.”
Cafe Rio is a Mexican restaurant the offers fast and casual dining. The restaurant offers fresh Mexican food, with no pre-made or microwaved food.
The Habit Burger Grill is a fast and casual restaurant that specializes in freshly prepared, made-to-order chargrilled burgers and sandwiches. They also offer salads, side dishes, shakes, and malts. Named the “best tasting burger in America” by a major magazine, the Habit has over 170 restaurants in 10 states. If Pizza is what you are craving, Pieology will also soon be an option.
Pieology allows you to create your own pizza, from crust to sauce, and all the way to the delicious toppings. With custom pizzas, salads and sides, everyone in your family is sure to be satisfied.
Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in sandwiches and salads. Cafe Rio is a Mexican restaurant the offers fast and casual dining.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ offers a “fusion” of Hawaiian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and American dishes. The Hawaiian-inspired plates are sure to please with delicious dishes served with a side of rice and macaroni salad.
The grading in preparation for the beginning stages of the new exciting development. Other businesses are in the approval process, spokeswoman Sue Jones said. “If approved, the developer would construct a multi-tenant building in between Kohl’s and WalMart that will house five businesses including 24-Hour Fitness, Ulta Beauty, and Five Below,” said Jones. “The plans are under environmental review with the state right now. Once they have been approved by the state, the plans will be considered by the City’s Planning Commission.”
As far as the timeline for completion, Jones said that it is unknown at this time as there are many factors involved. Regardless, Victorville residents are pleased with the forthcoming options.
