COLTON – A 30-year-old Colton man was arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography officials said.
On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, police served a search warrant in the 2000 block of Ohio Avenue, in the City of Colton. The investigation was a result of the distribution of child pornography over the internet and social media. During the search electronic storage devices were found to contain thousands of pornographic images and videos containing prepubescent children. Asa result, Christopher Ayala was arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center. He was released after posting bail on at around 5:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, 2018.
