APPLE VALLEY, Ca. – As first responders and hospital staff who risk their health to ensure the wellbeing of those ill, small signs of appreciation help to keep them going.
With the recent lack of sufficient face masks, protective gowns, and other essentials, some medical staff has felt expendable in recent weeks. On Wednesday, April 1, 2020, Nicole Brancato, an Intensive Care Unit registered nurse posted a video of people outside of St. Mary’s Hospital in the Town of Apple Valley praying. The organized group obeyed social distancing guidelines, all staying at least 6 feet apart during the prayer.
“I’m literally crying,” said Bracato on a Facebook post. “This is so amazing and seriously what we need right now.”
