CORONA, Calif. – A 12-year-old female reported to authorities on Tuesday that she was approached by a male motorist who told her to get into his truck.
At 2:25 p.m. the girl was walking home from Orange Elementary, when a gray Ford Ranger with a black front fender and tool box drove by her. The vehicle was driving westbound on Upper Drive and made a U-turn after passing the girl. The driver then made another U-turn, and pulled up to the girl, opened his passenger door, and told her to get in the car. The girl refused and fled to where a family member was waiting.
A resident on Lester captured photographs as the vehicle left the area. The driver, according to the girl was a Hispanic man, 40 to 50-years-old. He had brown eyes and short brown hair.
