The incident occurred on February 23, 2019, at around 1:00 a.m. The suspect, like a normal shopper, selected a couple of drinks at the Vons located at 369 Magnolia Avenue in the City of Corona. He told the cashier that he forgot his wallet and needed to go back to his vehicle to get it.
The suspect returned quickly with a black semi-automatic handgun. He demanded money from the night supervisor, who was working at the register. He walked out of the store in an unknown direction.
Please attempt to identify and if you have any suspect information either call Senior Detective Jesse Jurado at (951) 279-3628 or email him at Jesse.Jurado@coronaca.gov
