CORONA, Calif. – The Corona Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near the Sam’s Club on Ontario and California Avenues.
On the evening of June 25, 2019, a male in his late 30’s was shot. Police officers and emergency medical personnel responded to the location and learned that the suspect fled the location. The victim was transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers attempted to interview the victim but he was not cooperative.
Police said that the victim will be released soon but will be headed to jail due to a felony warrant her has. The shooting remains under investigation.
