ADELANTO – A tip from Google landed an Adelanto man behind bars officials said.
The investigation into a cyber tip reported by Google began on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Following the investigation, on Friday, May 11, 2018, at around 12:27 p.m., authorities located Beltran at the Starbucks located at 16922 Main Street in the City of Hesperia. “Investigators determined Beltran used large, colorful hair bows to exploit minors,” Hesperia Sheriff’s officials said in the news release. “At the conclusion of their investigation, Beltran was arrested.”
Beltran was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for the possession of child pornography and contacting a minor with intent to commit sex acts. He is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail.
