VICTORVILLE, Calif. – An inmate escaped after being treated at Victor Valley Global Medical Center in Victorville on Friday afternoon.
Daniel Zalduondo is not believed to be armed and according to Sheriff’s officials, is not believed to have any hostages. Zalduondo is in custody for a parole violation and possession of stolen property, officials said.
An active search has been going since before 2:00 p.m. The search is utilizing K9’s and a Sheriff’s helicopter. The search is ongoing as of Friday evening.
