VICTORVILLE – A female suspect is dead after a deputy-involved shooting in the City of Victorville on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities are not releasing the details at this time, but they have reported that they were responding to the report of an assault on 7th Street just north of Desert Knoll Drive. Witnesses at the scene reported that several gunshots were fired into the suspect vehicle. It is unknown what led to the shooting, but the female suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
The street is closed on 7th Street between Victor Street and Desert Knoll Drive until the Specialized Investigation Division detectives investigate the incident. No other information is available at this time, information will be updated as it becomes available.
