Inside the trailer were Christmas gifts that were intended for the children in the home. Deputy Sanchez who has ties to the area which she grew up in knew of the actual home because for many years they had a Halloween and Christmas light show.
Deputy Sanchez went out and with her own money, replaced the stolen gifts. On Sunday, December 23rd, she stopped by the home to drop off the gifts she bought for the children.
