DESERT HOT SPRINGS – Six were injured as a result of a traffic collision believed to be caused by a drunk driver on Thursday night.
At around 8:20 p.m. officers from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department responded to Ironwood and La Mesa Drives regarding the collision. When they arrived they noticed two vehicles that sustained major damage and a parked vehicle that sustained damage as a result of flying debris.
Three juveniles and one man were transported by ground to a local hospital, where they were treated and released with minor injuries. A male adult passenger was critically injured and a woman suffered moderate injuries.
