DEVORE, Calif. – A Homeland man was killed as a result of a motorcycle crash, CHP officials said.
On April 26, 2019, at around 7:05 p.m., the 52-year-old man was riding a 2014 Harley Davidson. An unidentified 34-year-old Lakeside woman was the passenger on the motorcycle. The two were traveling on Glen Helen Parkway, west of Cajon Boulevard, when for reasons that remain under investigation, the driver allowed the motorcycle to veer left across the eastbound lane. The motorcycle hit the metal guardrail causing major injuries to the driver and passenger.
The badly injured man and woman were rushed to the hospital, where the male driver was pronounced deceased at the hospital at around 8:48 p.m. The name of the deceased driver has not been released at this time.
