VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 30-year-old man sustained serious injuries after being shot as a result of a dispute about his dogs on Sunday.
Authorities said that they received a report of the shooting on the 15000 block of Arlette Drive at around 1:25 p.m. When they arrived they found the victim with a gunshot wound to his abdomen and foot. Through investigation, it was learned that the suspects, determined to be Richardo Sandoval, 19, and Rafael Sandoval, 24, both of Hesperia, drove by the home and fired multiple rounds at the victim.
The victim was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment and is in stable condition. The victim knew the suspects, sheriff officials said. The suspects were located at their home in the 8400 block of 7th Avenue in the City of Hesperia and were booked into jail for attempted murder. Both suspects are scheduled to appear in court on May 7, 2019.
