RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The man who killed an 8-month pregnant San Jacinto woman and her unborn child while driving drunk and speeding was sentenced today to 10 years in prison.
On September 9, 2018, Marcos Forestalcoutin, 29, struck the vehicle Krystil Kincaid, 29, was driving on the 500 block of N. Warren Road in the City of Hemet. Rather than rushing to her aid, Forestalcoutin took out his smartphone and began live streaming the aftermath. When emergency medical personnel arrived, the vehicle carrying Kincaid has caught fire, but they were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Kincaid’s legs were pinned under the dash of the Chrysler van, and was extricated. She was airlifted to the hospital where her and her unborn child died.
Kincaid left behind a husband and three children ages 4, 8, and 11. Seven of the victims’ family members gave an emotional testimony in court on Thursday, June 27, 2019. The 10 year prison sentence was the maximum sentence possible in the case, Riverside County District Attorney officials said.
