Eastvale Man Arrested for Armed Robbery

EASTVALE – An Eastvale man was arrested for the armed robbery of a female victim who was in the parking lot of a business nearly 8 months ago.

The report of an armed robbery in the 2300 block of Hamner Avenue in the City of Norco was reported shortly after 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Through investigation, Norco Sheriff’s deputies learned that the unknown male suspect robbed the woman and fled the location in a vehicle. Several months of multiple law enforcement agencies following leads led to the identification of the suspect.

On Friday, January 4, 2019, search warrant was served on two Eastvale homes.  During the search, evidence associated with the case was recovered. Rene Simon Breceda, 42, was arrested without incident in the City of Ontario, Breceda was transported and booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for robbery.
